Namibia

Namibia is renowned for its stark and stunning landscapes, characterized by vast deserts, rugged mountains, and coastal plains. The Namib Desert, one of the oldest deserts in the world, features iconic red sand dunes, gravel plains, and rocky outcrops. Despite the arid conditions, the desert hosts a unique array of wildlife, including gemsbok (oryx), springbok, desert-adapted elephants, and the endemic dune lark. The Skeleton Coast, part of the Namib Desert, is known for its shipwrecks, seal colonies, and eerie, mist-laden beaches, adding to Namibia's reputation as a land of dramatic and otherworldly beauty.
